Hammering Man

Since 1991 the 21,5 metres high sculpture "Hammering Man" by American artist Jonathan Borofskys is situated in front of Frankfurt's MesseTurm. The moving sculpture emblematises a worker constantly hammering a object.

The hammering man is a symbol for the working world and can be find in modified versions in other metropolises around the globe.

The sculpture near the MesseTurm entrance weights over 32 tons and is the biggest art work in this series of Jonathan Borofsky so far.
